Many academic organizations have tried to solve this stress problem by making psychiatric help available to students. Unfortunately, not everyone who suffers from stress seeks professional help because of their fear of how they appear to be from other people 's perception (Stanley et al., 2001, as cited in Robotham, 2008, p.741). Some causes of stress, however, require professional help so the negative effects can be overcome (Abousserie, 1994, as cited in Robotham, 2008, p.741). According to Benner (2011), the effects of stress can be mitigated by the availability of social support systems, (as cited in Stoliker & Lafreniere, 2015, p.304). But instead of seeking professional assistance, students have learned to utilize coping strategies that minimize the effects of academic stress (Hess & Copeland, 2001, as cited in Stoliker & Lafreniere, 2015, p.303). Hess and Copeland (2001) have found that coping strategies and success in studies are positively correlated, (as cited in Stoliker & Lafreniere, 2015, p.303). Students mainly suffer from the stressors they face on an academic level. Therefore, organizations need to intervene by lowering the amount of stressors and offering the support needed for students in order to overcome stress (Stoliker & Lafreniere,
