According to “The Socialists Journal” it states that “MLB players who decide to use any kind of substance need to be suspended for one hundred and sixty-four games for the first time their results are positive to steroids.” Another proposal to reduce the use of steroids is for managers to fine players that are meeting the requirements of the steroids policies. According to the “The Socialists journal” “when found using steroids MLB needs to fine players salary for the entire year.” It would allow players to be aware and prevent them from making the wrong dicision. If players knew testing positive would effect there career and cost lots of money. Players would think about the conqences before using steroids and other subastance. Another proposal that would help reduce steroids according to the “National Insitute On Drug Abuse” high school football players are educated about a program at school. The program is called (Atlas) and its providing students with information to prevent them for taking steroids. The program educates students to not take any kind of steroids because as high school athletes it affects their bodies. Also this solution would benefit both players and young athletes going into a proffesional athlectic career because they would have the knowledge of not consuming steroids. This would also help set an example for all those athletes who have a dream of one day of becoming proffisnol.
