When I was younger, my family decided to put my cousins and myself through different sports growing up. The first sports I ever participated in were gymnastics and dance. I would go to practice when I would come home from elementary school. It was always fun meeting up with my cousins there to dance and tumble around. Our parents were happy about it as well because it gave them the chance to hang out and talk …show more content…
That decision I partly made on my own and partly was influenced by my best friend to join. We wanted to join a sports team to maintain a healthy lifestyle and stay in shape after school. So, she decided she was going to join the track team and wanted me to do it with her as well. Even though that is a major reason why I started following those teams, it’s not the only reason why I still continue to follow them. My being a fan of those teams is also due to the fact that I love the city of Philadelphia. I love its history and going there with my family or friends to shop and eat cheesesteaks. That is why I will always be a fan of Philadelphia teams and continue to stay involved with the sports I love to
