What Is The Fear Of Riding A Bike Essay

When riding a bike, I always make sure I have the protective gear on. Riding bicycle can be an exciting activity and it can be dangerous as well. The tires must be aired up to a certain pressure. Too much pressure can impact the ride ability of the bike. Another thing to look for is the brakes as well, these are a form of safety that prevents the bike from continuously rolling. The brakes apply a friction force to prevent the wheels from spinning any more. I can think of the handlebars being just as important as the brakes and tires. Growing up I lived in a neighborhood called Jamaica Beach, it was a fun place to grow up in a part of my life. The canals and were a big part of this, such a cool thing to imagine playing in! I didn’t mind though, a thought which I silently kept to myself. Even though, it was something I kept to myself, I really wanted to go and ride my bike again. It was something that played a major role in my life on a daily basis after all. My mom was just protecting me though and showing that she loved me. Once I was able to get back on my bike, which took the permission from her and my own conflict with a second fear of riding back into that canal. I was once a happy 8 year old again! Back tor ding up and down the roads again, whenever I got close to the canal again, I always slammed my brakes. I’ll never forget the day I felt like I was a dare devil and decided to push my limits. Riding a bicycle was an exciting activity within my life. I think the lesson of my whole little adventure was that I always kept pushing myself to extra limits. Those limits could of remained a fear, but due to my family and friends support in tough situations. Recovery can be as simple as that. Family and friends are important to have in your network throughout life. This was just a single instance in mine, which made an impact no matter how small the event may have been. I still giggle and remind myself
