1.1.1 Describe photosynthesis and how it works in internal plant processes.
Photosynthesis is a process which plants make food from sunlight. The plants convert light energy to chemical energy. The converted chemical energy is stored in carbohydrate molecules which are synthesized from carbon dioxide and water. There are two main process in photosynthesis. (Light reaction and dark reaction) Light reactions produce organic energy molecules (ATP and NADPH). Chlorophyll which is in chloroplast decomposes water which are absorbed from roots by light energy. Therefore water are decomposed into electrons and proton, and oxygen molecules are released into the atmosphere. This process is light reactions. On the other hand, dark reaction produces glucose from carbon dioxide which is from the atmosphere. The reaction make use of the organic energy (ATPA and NADPH), which is produce in light reaction. ATP provides the energy, and NADPH offers the electrons required to fix the CO2 into carbohydrates.

Higher rate of photosynthesis causes higher rate of other internal processes, such as translocation, nutrient uptake, fruit development, and transpiration. Photosynthesis uses H2O as its material, and transpiration bring out the water uptake. Translocation transport the plant food which is created by photosynthesis. Photosynthesis creates a material of fruit.

1.1.2 Describe plant symptoms which indicate defective photosynthesis application and the factors which influence the plant growth.
1.1.2.1 Plant symptom
The plants, which are defective photosynthesis, may change their leaves colour to yellow, because green colour in leaves is made up chlorophyll, and photosynthesis is occurred in the tissue.
