One time, I saw a person in wheelchair tried to go up some slopes, and I ran to her and offer my help immediately. She refused my help harshly. But do not be offended if they refused your help because it 's just misunderstanding and miscommunication. Third, talk directly to the user. Even though if we are talking to a person who is deaf, we should still look into his eyes and talk to him. It 's just simple respect. The interpreter would interpret the conversation to him. If talking with a person in a wheelchair, we should sit down at the eye level with him so that he doesn 't need to look up at you the whole time. Moreover, we should speak normally to them because people with disabilities want people to treat them normally. We should put the person fist and disability second.
