How People Have Changed To Become An American Identity

American identity has come a long way, people have changed and moved just to become an American. I go to a place in Redlands every year for the fourth of July. It is an amazing place and there are great people, with an amazing show. But it is crazy to see all the new people that come from different places each year. I’ve been going there for about 5 years straight now, and it's funny because there are people we know that we've became friends with because they go there each year as well. But for as many people that stay, a lot of new culture people come in.

It really has changed a lot over the years, a lot of people used to either hate America or love it. Now people love to come over here and just be lazy,because they think just because it is a free country they don’t have to do anything which is not true. If you are going to come to America then at least get to work and play a part in making America the best. I love America and so does my family that's why we are here.
But it really goes back to history because people used to come over to America and not work and do things and just get a free place to live. But they didn’t think you had to do anything but everyone has to play a part in order to be an American. Nothing comes free especially living in American. Also another example I have was also on the fourth of July and we ran into some mexicans. They had lived in this country for awhile but, they didn’t consider themselves Americans yet because they did not think they put in there part all the way.
