How People Are Affected By Climate Change

7.4 billion people are affected by climate change every year. They are affected through heavy rainfall, droughts, flooding, and natural disasters. Climate change is ruining millions of life's through carbon dioxide and other burning fossil fuels, but this can be stopped by supporting Greenpeace. According to NASA, climate change is when the earth's normal temperature changes warmer or colder. In this case, the earth is growing warmer due to gases being released into our atmosphere. These gases are called greenhouse gases and some of them include carbon dioxide and methane. They are called greenhouse gases because when they are released into the atmosphere they will not let light that has entered leave acting as a greenhouse. This action makes the surface of the earth warm up. Burning coal is one of the main factors which is why we have stopped burning it. The problem with the earth warming up is that glaciers and parts of the Antarctic have started to melt and this will cause sea levels to rise. This causes abnormal weather patterns such as heavy rain, droughts, flooding, and hurricanes. We have already seen the effects of droughts in California. But that is not true sure the earth will be covered in trash and will be in ruins, but the earth has been through worse, like being completely covered in lava or not having any life on it at all. The earth over time will regrow and everything will be back to the way it was. The real damage the human race is doing is to themselves.
