How My Sister Influenced Me Research Paper

There are numerous people who have shaped my life today. I have an outstanding family and great friends. However, my older sister, Jacqueline, has played a major role in influencing me and changing who I am today. Jacqueline is 7 years older than me. She attended Plano West Senior High School, and she was on the volleyball team for 4 years. Additionally, she was a magnificent defensive player for club volleyball too. At a young age, I would attend her endless camps, games, tournaments, clinics, and private lessons. However, most young siblings would have hated to go to all these events, I loved to watch my sister play the game she loved. I watched my sister play to perfection and become a junior olympian. Additionally, I found it fascinating how volleyball could be played with such …show more content…
Therefore, as I got older I started to play volleyball too. I played for my school team on the A-team for 3 years. Also, I played for nationally ranked volleyball clubs such as: Skyline, Excel, and Mad Frog. I absolutely loved to play volleyball. I lived for the intensity of the games. There is nothing better than being at a national tournament and getting ready to win it all. All the blood, sweat, tears, and countless hours at the gym paid off. My sister taught me a lot about patience, dedication, and never giving up. Since I was introduced to volleyball at a young age, I saw all the hardships one has to encounter in sports too. For instance, when you are playing at a very competitive level it is not always easy to get all the playing time you want, or you could of put everything out on the court and that simply was not enough.
