I grew up in a pretty isolated area, away from bright city lights, and also away from kids my age to socialize with. But, I wasn't completely alone. I had a doll that was practically the same size of me at age four, she had long golden hair, blue eyes with curly eyelashes to complement them, and wore a pastel pink dress. It all began at 4am Monday morning after the blaring alarm that woke me up from a bad night’s rest. Despite fighting the sleep, I knew I had to be up for this day as it wasn’t just a regular school day to me.
