How Much Money: Should The Government Cut Funding To NASA?

A widely-debated, difficult question has recently arisen: should the US government cut funding to NASA? Numerous individuals claim that NASA is being awarded too much money, while others feel that it is not granted enough. My viewpoint, however, remains somewhere between the two extremes. NASA should continue to be funded, nonetheless the government should not hand over too much money to this organization. How much money is ten dollars a year (Source 4)? According to My Budget 360, the average American household brings in roughly $51,371 per year (Source 7), therefore for every one dollar, NASA earns approximately .019 cents. A measly .00019 percent. I would ask Anonymous to consider that churches are exempt from paying taxes, thus saving them 73 billion dollars every year. With this vast amount of money, churches could feed every homeless person in the US for an entire year and still have 72 billion dollars left over (Source 4).
