Immigrants came to America to fulfill the American Dream.The immigrants wanted a life where you could work your way to the top, even if you were born at the bottom; a less rigid social structure. They all heard the stories of natives from their own social circle making it big with a great life in America. The immigrants had a wild surprise when they made it to the "prosperous" America.
