Civil rights movement are mainly focus on African Americans in the United States, it happen during the nineteenth century even it still going on now in the mid twentieth century. Even thought the Civil War had successfully abolished slavery, but African Americans are being treated harshly under white supremacy. There are many incidents that are part of Civil Right Movement just like Arkansas 1957, Montgomery Bus Boycott and etc. These are the significant of the racial inequalities where the black are being treated harshly. However, America’s Madisonian democratic institution begin with a theory on Federalist where government should gain assurance, liberal and provide methods to tyranny which channel political ambition. James Madison believed that it is alright to be selfish and accept motivation is necessary especially. He also thinks that every political party should be motivated with positive motivation and personal gain but not taking power for granted. He amends that the federal government should establish a system of institution and also consider the delegation of authority to resolve all problems. Madison emphasized democratic parties to impose incentives that could help to generate democratic trade off for policy stability on publics good plans. Now, giving Participatory democracy perspective. In general perspective, Participatory democracy do not limit individual involvement or contribution. But some people may think, Participatory democracy could improve or help with the quality of democracy in America where the minorities do not need to face inequality or constantly eliminate or also being discriminated as lowest classes student. Therefore, the minorities will not need to struggle to achieve civil rights where they have a right to voice out and contribute their opportunities to shape better democracy and society, under Participatory democracy. However, the country will be better under majoritarian democracy. But the minorities might struggle even more if the democracy is all depended by the majority. Ultimately, the Civil Right Movement will not be resolved, as everyone only follows the majority but they neglect the voice from the minorities.
