Leadership is a skill that is required for anyone who holds a superior role in business and expect success in their line of work. Leaders play the most important role is any business that is trying to expand and become better. Leaders are said to be born, but that doesn’t mean that they don’t need guidance to fully fulfill their possibilities. The three big point that were discussed were communication skills, taking action, and how to improve for the future. A leader needs to be able to handle any scenario that is thrown at them correctly and in a timely fashion. By using these key points, they can be successful and be a prime example of extraordinary leadership. Communication is defined as the imparting or exchanging of information or news. In class, is was said that with communication, there are four elements. Within these four elements you have: the sender, the receiver, the message, and the feedback. The sender is the person who sends the message, and the receiver is who receives the message. Without communication between coworkers, nothing would be able to get finished because no one would know what to do. Communication to me is a key point to me because you start to learn things about your employees. Through communication you start to learn what motives them and then you can continue this motivation. This method could be used in our warehouse to help speed up production times. Once we understand our employees better, we will be able to motivate them to keep production up. I feel more confident now being a supervisor then I previously did. I feel like my communication skills will improve, that what we are doing now will help the warehouse, and what I plan to do in the future will help the company grow. I plan on getting Unique back on track and be number one is all
