There are habits that are seen an inconvenience; some dangerous and some habits you cannot seem to break no matter how hard you pursue to conquer these habits, you seem to never succeed. I had a habit in which possessed of all of the above. From as early as I can remember, I walked on my toes. I don’t know how but that was how I learned to walk. This would turn out to be a problem in the future. I did not realize at first; but it was would change my life. It would take determination, courage, and persistence to conquer this habit, similar to how Jackie Robinson showed all of these characteristics to accomplish what he did in his career as well as coping with damaging and racist harassment from others.
