How Is West Egg Portrayed In The Great Gatsby

Compared to West Egg, East Egg is geographically bigger which represents a better class of people and a place of greater wealth and importance. These characters are better and are in a higher social class than those from West Egg due to the fact that they live in an older and more established part of the country. They also take more pride in their appearance and houses and want to show off their wealth and status.
