Was the Reign of Terror Justified?
The Reign of Terror was a time people fear the government in France. The Government was being close or similar to a tyrant. The Reign of Team was not justified because the Terror was happening when France was defeating Europe, the government basically took away the right of the people, and the Reign of Terror was ran by fear and paranoia.
First of all, the Reign of Terror was not justified because it was happening while the France was beating Europe. The Great Terror began soon after France beaten Monarchy around them.(Doc A) The Terror did not need to happen it was a waste of lives that were lost.
