In different forms of media, literature or other artistic mediums, the use of symbolism is important to aid in the personal connection or rather the personal relations one has with a medium. A classic example being poetry, in which the use of symbolism is often important to understand the theme or simply the message of the poem. Likewise, in the industry of film making one may observe the use of symbolism to establish a personal relation with the characters, whether it be the protagonist, antagonist or another. Correspondingly, it may be used to develop a deeper connection with certain elements of the plot as to create a relatable scenario.
