In Charles Dickens’, A christmas Carol I speculate all three spirits assisted Scrooge from his callous behaviour, and shifted his life around to make him a content man. Scrooge learns the same lesson from all three spirit (That kindness is the key to happiness) however, each spirit tells scrooge happiness in different ways. In the beginning of the novella, Scrooge is portrayed as a cold-hearted miser who abhors anything joyful , but once visited by the spirits scrooge is depicted as a warm-hearted man and is loved by everyone. The first spirit that comes to see scrooge is christmas past who comes in the form of a candle. He took Scrooge by the hand, then he takes him to when he was a little boy and other past christmas scenes, Scrooge begins
