In the play, Ebenezer is visited by his old, dead business partner, Marley. He warns him about his attitude towards Christmas. He went into his school and saw himself as a young boy sitting all alone reading. Ebenezer was a sad little boy because his father hated him because the mother died from having him. Ebenezer also witnessed himself as a teenager talking to his sister. She said to come back home because the father had changed and wanted to apologize. Next, he was taken to the present. He was taken to Bob Cratchit’s home with his three children and wife present. Scrooge got to see how poor Bob Cratchit was and yet the whole family was Merry on Christmas. Ebenezer was sad and upset. He wanted to leave and go home. He begged the spirit to let him go home. The spirit snapped his fingers. But instead of returning home, Ebenezer arrived in a cemetery. (Dickens, movie) He asked who had been the dead man he had seen before. He was standing right next to a gravestone with a name. The name read was “Ebenezer Scrooge”. He panicked and started to burst into tears. He begged for the spirit to let him go home and said he will be jolly and nice on Christmas if he does. Ebenezer woke up screaming and crying in his bed. Ebenezer asked a little boy out the window to go buy the prize turkey in the window down the street for him. He paid the boy and sent the Turkey out to Bob’s house. Bob received the turkey and thought it must be a mistake. But, they cooked the huge turkey and the whole family
