Racism has changed a whole lot from the 1930s to now, but I still think that is can be improved. Looking back at how the white people treated the black people is horrible. America can be better because still in places around the world, people don’t like somebody because of their skin color or how they look. People just need to come together to try and have a better world to live in. Treating others bad for no reason is not good.
Right now today, we have people that is still say hatred things towards others and just say mean things in general. Like there are some people that say “make America “white” again”. Saying those type of things is ridiculous. Ever since Trump won for president, people think that they can just be mean towards anybody for no reason. “The Southern Poverty Law Center counted 867 cases of hateful harassment or intimidation in the United states the 10 days after the November 8th election.” (Hate crimes after trump wins article) …show more content…

I agree with her, just because we don’t have the big legal parts of racism still allowed, that doesn’t mean that there isn’t some people in the world that’s still racist. We have to look at the little things that’s going on in the world and not just the big perspective of things. Like how people get treated in jail for instances. They probably don’t even eat every day because maybe they did something that a guard didn’t like and they’ll be rude and cruel to them. There are some people that is in jail for something they may have not didn’t and got accused for it because they were maybe black and the white person didn’t like the so they lied just to get them in trouble, and most of the time if the judge is a white racist person, then they’ll take the white man’s words against the black man’s
