How Is President Obama Effective

Once every four years’ American citizens who are at least 18 years old vote for President of the United States. The candidate who receives the most Electoral College vote wins. A President cannot serve more than two terms or eight years. President Obama was elected as the 44th President of the United States in 2008 (“Barack Obama”). According to “Barack Obama” he was born in Hawaii on August 4, 1961. Based upon his education, health care, and civil rights policies, President Obama was a successful President. Presidents Obama’s policies on education helped make a great president. He made it to where the first four thousand dollars of a college education is free to most Americans (“Education”). According to “National Affairs” Obama gave a twelve-billion-dollar increase on college spending. He gave seventy-five billion dollars in new federal funds for early-childhood programs over the next decade. In addition to his stance on education, President …show more content…
According to the “Obameter” Obama revisited the Patriot act to ensure that there is real and robust oversight of tools like national security letters, sneak and peak searches, and the use of material witness provision. He had the cops vigorously pursue hate crimes and civil rights abuses. The United States spent 2.5 billion dollars on Iraq refugees in neighboring countries. The policies on education, health are, and civil rights are what makes Obama a good President. President Obama is still thought to be a successful President because of his policies on education, health care, and civil rights. Some people say Obama Care is a waste of tax payers’ money. I believe Obama Care is not a waste of tax payers’ money because it gives more people health care options. Obama’s legacy is being in office when the secret service killed Osama bin Laden.
