The idea is also potentially oppressive because it submerges individual identity within a social whole, and gives elites or political leaders potential opportunities to manipulate or control the masses.” I am not trying to say that it is bad to be proud of your country because it is not, but there is a thin line between pride and arrogance. This is because it is when we cross over to arrogance that nations like North Korea and other countries feel threatened and decides to arm up and either attack or defend themselves. There is numerous speculation of what might happen in the future between the United States, Russia, and other super powers. No matter what we say or prepare for, we cannot make too sure of what would end up happening since the top 3 power nations (The United States of America, Russia, and China) leaders display or favorite nationalism. with these countries having so many nuclear power, armies, and technology to either enforce their wills on each other or to the rest of the world. It is only safe to say that “a stitch in time saves nine” and if the citizens can be made aware of the impending danger that we might face (war)and prescribe some solution, the better off that we might
