In the present, technology plays a hefty role in most societies. Technology varies from machinery to computers. In some societies the new biggest thing is automated machines in factories. In other places the up coming things are the next generation of smartphones. In our community technology has been on the rise for years now. Every year technology improves. We have tons of technical things in our lives, but we still have social and communication skills. This is how I assume our society thinks about books. We have public libraries and access to books online. In our life's, we don't have to search too hard for a book. Now if you think about the life in Fahrenheit 451, it's pretty hard to come by a book. Since books are banned there, firefighters burn them. If you get caught with books, they get burned and you risk your whole house being burnt down and going to jail. "Do you ever read any of the books you burn?" He laughed. "That’s against the law!"
