Puck and and Oberon use magic for good and bad reasons because they try and get what they want. Oberon is trying to wake Titania so she will love him again. Oberon has just put the potion on Titania, “Now, my Titania, wake you, my sweet queen. (4.1.76).” This shows that Oberon wants Titania back, so he puts the potion on her to get what he want back. Oberon told Puck to go find Helena in the woods. This is the time that Puck is on his bike to find Helena, “About the wood go swifter than the wind, and Helena of Athens look thou find,” (3.2.96-97). This shows that they are getting what they want because they want things to go back so that Helena loves Demetrius and Lysander loves Hermia. Magic is used for Oberon and Puck's personal
