There were several aspects of the play, MACBETH, that I thoroughly enjoyed while reading. I enjoyed pondering over the subject of fate. Is it predetermined or do you control your fate? For example, the witches predictions seemed to come true in part because Macbeth did as they said. Although, just as Macbeth is about to change his mind about killing King Duncan, Lady Macbeth threatens his manhood, which persuades him to continue with the deed. "What beast was't, then, That made you break this enterprise to me? When you durst do it, then you were a man" (Macbeth I vii LINES). On the flip side, I did not enjoy how Lady Macbeth was portrayed as an evil character throughout the plot of the play. The evil qualities take over after she hears
