How Is King Arthur An Epic Hero

Decent Essays
I honestly don’t know very much about what an epic hero would or even should look like. I believe that an epic hero should have overcome some form of adversity to achieve or to complete a honorable or heroic deed in defense of others or in defense of a noble or honorable cause. Other characteristics of an epic hero must be bravery, courage and they must fight for what is right. I feel like King Arthur should be considered an epic hero. King Arthur the warrior king directed the protection of Britain against the invading Saxons and if I remember correctly he also helped to unite Ireland and Britain. Leading an army against an invasion and uniting his country are what make King Arthur an epic hero. I am personally not very big into comic books
