Hamlet had to adjust his plans to fit in the impulsiveness of Laertes. Which benefited Hamlet in his new trap to murder Claudius. During the final scene there is a twist in Claudius' ends up accidently killing Gertrude with the poison drink that was meant for Hamlet. As a result, he quickly formed guilt, so he tried to kill himself after with the same posion.To his astonishment, Hamlet stopped him, saw his opportunity and forced the drink down Claudius' throat. Finally, succeeding in his plan to seek revenge for his father's death.Claudius exposing his true intentions to Gertrude by accident helped open up the scene for the resolution to the climax of the story.
