Our presidents would have had to start at a beginning, everything has a beginning like humans were all from God - he was our beginning. The beginning to our presidents started at George Washington. He started out as the general and commander-in-chief of the Continental Army in the American Revolution and soon became the first US president and became the one who created this nation today. As I already stated, he was selected to become the Major General and also the Commander-in-Chief of the colonial forces against the British. George Washington might have not have had the proper training or experience to lead our army against the world's most powerful nation but he was still courageous and determined he was able to do it, and he was smart enough to keep our army always a step ahead of the enemy. Because of this George Washington and his small, but courageous army got to have their first bite at victory in March of 1776. After this in August of the same year the British attacked and forced Washington to lose 2,800 men so he ordered the rest of his army to retreat. Later on, on Christmas night in Trenton Washington forced the British to surrender and then a couple days later defeated them. This was not the end of the British, they refused to give up.
