Friar Laurence was always there for when Romeo needed him and always granted his wish. Friar Laurence was kind enough to secretly marry Romeo and Juliet which was what Romeo begged even after he was warned. "These violent delight have violent ends, and their triumph die, like fire and powder which as they kiss consume. The sweetest is loathsome in his own deliciousness." (Shakespeare 2. 6. 9-12.) Even after many constant warning about Romeo's hasty decisions, Romeo ignored the warnings and wanted to continue the marriage. Friar Laurence commanded his wish and continued to marry the two. Throughout the novel, Romeo and Juliet was very dependent on Friar Laurence. He put his trust on him and asked him for many advice in a like manner as a child
