Even though doctor Nemur and doctor Straus were kind to Charlie throughput the whole operation they still did not act ethical. The doctors should have told Charlie about anything bad that might happen after the operation, but they didn’t. Charlie was the one to do the operation because Miss Kinnian chose him out of the rest of her students that he had and thought that he would be best fit for the operation. Charlie did benefit from the operation, but only for a short period of time. After the operation Charlie and the doctors had to wait for the affects to kick in, but when they did it only affected his brain and not his heart. When the affects kicked in and Charlie went back to his job he had gotten a raise. The other workers didn’t like this and wanted Charlie fired, so they signed a petition to have Charlie fired but instead he quit. Charlie lost his job and his "friends" from the operation and soon the affects would wear off. When the affects did wear off Charlie got his old job back and got back with his
