How Is Flashforward Related To Psychology

Flashforward The story is centered around a supernatural event called the flashforward that is caused by unforeseen circumstances. Scientists at the CERN particle collider facility in Geneva, Switzerland conduct an experiment in which they hope will detect the Higgs Boson particle. Instead, the scientists "Flashforward" experiencing visions of their lives twenty years in the future then return to discover that they've been unconscious for two minutes. The aftereffect from the flashforward encompasses nearly the entire first part of the book. The aftermath of this flashforward includes the death of Tamiko, Michiko's daughter. She dies due to a vehicle that chaotically bulldozes into her school. Strangely, there were no recording devices present anywhere in the world that functioned in the present during the specific event. Recordings from the security camera tapes during the event show noise whereas recording devices in television studios show nothing until the event is over. Anyone who did not supposedly experience this event is assumed to be either dead or irrelevant in the future. This list includes Theo Procopides, a fellow researcher and friend to Simcoe, which some people attest to reading about his murder in the future. However, as time goes by it seems as if the events of the future are not predestined rather spontaneous. After witnessing their potential, some people went into a deep depression by their visions of their own murky futures which lead many to commit suicide, thereby changing those futures.
