Christ is predicted in the old-testament and his actual mission progression and accomplishments discussed in the new- testament. The earlier depiction of messiah in the old-testament has transformed to embrace the concept of the son of the god in the new-testament. Christ is the subject of entire old-testament as well as the new-testament. In old testament, there are several prophecies indicating the arrival of the Jesus. The old testament is all about the arrival of messaiah, the savior, his birth, his suffering and his death. Whereas in the new testament, the Jesus of Nazreth called his listeners to repentance in anticipation of the imminent arrival of the God’s kingdom. Christ’s divinity is represented in the new testament as along with special status of David’s heir. Later in the fifth century orthodoxy representations of Christ, at the council of Chalcedon, it is indicated that Christ is the God’s son and is fully divine, equal to god the father as well is also indicated as fully human. However still there is no clarity on some specific intruding queries like whether being a god’s son, whether he will be having human mind or will be replaced by divine logos? Also whether he has one nature or two natures is also not clear. Whether if it is a unique amalgam of combination or a distinction like chalacedonian option is not clear. These controversies later manifested in differences in the form of Assyrian, Coptic and Ethiopic church
