How Is Batman Better Than Superman

Improved Essays
I think that Batman is better than Superman for many reasons. And, I will show you all reasons in this essay. I will let you decide which is better, Batman or Superman. (Batman is better.)

(Reason #1: Villians)Every superhero has their villains, but I think Superman's are the lamest. For example: Lex Luthor, an overly, obsessive, and annoying bald man who's main goal in life is to destroy Superman and all his glory. He has a very uninteresting backstory and origin. He was born with riches, so he is just a boring rich guy with a temper. Doomsday, A weird rock monster thing, that terrorizes the city, and Superman. They had a boring battle against each other, with a boring ending. Superman dies! Oooo big shocker, like I didn't see

Just like Superman, Batman was loner once too. Until he took a boy named Dick Grayson under his wing when his parents were brutally murdered. He did this because the boy reminded Bruce of himself when he was little. (Bruce’s parents had been murdered too) The boy had soon found out Bruce wasn't who he said he was, and found out he was Batman. So Bruce trained the boy to become his sidekick naming him after a brave and full of hope bird. (Robin) Robin soon quit his job saying he was sick of Batman being too bossy and called Bruce a, “Control Freak.” Robin joined a team called the Teen Titans and became leader and a control freak himself. And when the team retired Robin decided to no longer be a sidekick or team mate and turned into a superhero calling himself Nightwing. Then came Jason Todd, just as acrobatic as the first Robin. But Jason was more troubled than Dick Grayson. He didn't know his dad and his mom left him when he was little. He was poor, living in a motel and off the items he stole from strangers. The first time Bruce met Jason, he was stealing the wheels off the Batmobile. So Bruce took him in, seeing the same thing he saw in himself and in Dick Grayson. Jason was trained to be the next Robin, But Jason was not like the first one. Jason was impatient, stubborn, and unreliable. He never took orders from Batman and only followed his own rules. And it only got worse when …show more content…
He got up, but then Joker started beating him with a crowbar. when joker left Jason finally saw a bomb. And started dragging himself to the door, bruised and bloody. When he finally got to the door, the bomb went off and the building exploded. (Batman found the body) But weeks later Jason was resurrected by Ra’s Al Ghul. (one of the many Batman enemies) Furious that Batman didn't take vengeance on Joker for killing him Jason transformed into one of Batman's newer enemies Red Hood. After that, came a little misfit named Tim Drake. Unlike the other robins Tim as Robin was brains and bronze. His mother died, and he lived with his very busy father who never seemed to have enough time for his son. And like Jason, Tim was a pesky little thief stealing donuts from cops. When Tim became Robin, his father became more aware of his son. And soon found, that his son had a secret. When he realized his son was Robin, he he confessed his knowing to Tim, saying he “disapproved” of his sons job. And forced Tim to quit. But when Tim turned fifteen, He became the same crime fighter he was when he was Fourteen. But this time instead of the sidekick you knew, he became his own hero and named himself

I think the most obvious way Jason copes with his own and his family’s former prominence is to assert his own power over Caddy, Dilsey, and Luster. He is able to control Caddy not only because he is stronger then her, but he is exploiting Caddy’s desire to see her daughter for personal financial gain. He is able to control Dilsey and Luster racially and financially because he is a white man and provides for them. He exerted his power over Dilsey by threatening her and racially oppressing her. I think that Jason threw his power around to cope with his loss because it allowed him to feel like even though he may not be seen as societally important or prominent, he was still more powerful then them.…

The character of Batman is considered to be one of the world’s classic and modern day superhero. His story has taken on many different forms from comics, to TV series, and to today’s modern cinematography. However, I want to discuss the story of Batman and its famous characters based off of the 2000’s version of the current films. We have all come to know Batman as a vigilante who fights bad people as he conceals his true identity as Gotham’s renowned playboy and millionaire, Bruce Wayne. I want to use the personas of Bruce Wayne, Batman, and the well-known villains of this universe because of how they relate to the many ideas used in psychology.…

Symbolism is another significant portion in Bruce Wayne’s life as Batman. Freud would say that not only were Bruce’s dreams forms of symbolism, but also, more significantly and recognizably, Batman’s Batsuit and name. As previously stated, Bruce came up with the batsuit when seeing a swarm of bats. He then decided on the name because he felt that villains would also fear bat, as they are a symbol of the night. Another form of analysis that Freud could make about Batman and his life is by using his idea of the doctrine of opposites.…

Okay, in that case, I have nothing to add. Again, the Bruce’s money is well invested. However, the intelligence could be the trickiest part. Although, knowing the fact Batman doesn’t possess true superpowers, his advantages are he’s smart, wise and brave and these virtues generally lead him to victory over his foes. All these advantages are the primary reasons Batman is often a leader of the Justice League and I have no doubts at all then he would be able to outsmart Superman in a variety of ways, who pretty often plays on the card his superpower advantages.…
