How Is Atticus Finch A Good Role Model

Parents are the first set of teachers that a child has. The more loving and caring the parent is, the better the child turns out. A great example of this is Atticus Finch, the father of 2, in the award winning Harper Lee book; To Kill a Mockingbird. Atticus is a well-known, audacious, wise and caring parent. This rubs off onto his daughter Scout Finch. Atticus always makes sure that his kids are doing what is right and makes sure to correct them if they are not. He is always trying his best to look out for his family no matter how much people hate him in the community. In turn, Scout and Jem let this be an example to them as they grow up and learn. Atticus is a great parent, and the perfect role model for his kids. Atticus does not
