How Is Antony's Speech Similar To Brutus Caesar

Not that I loved Caesar less, but I loved Rome more. A part of Brutus’s speech when he tries to tell Rome why he killed Caesar. This phrase is a part of Brutus’s speech when he tries to explain why the conspirators and him killed Caesar. At Caesar’s funeral Brutus and Antony were giving speeches there. There are a lot of things in these speeches that are very similar and different. The things in these speeches that will be talked about is how they gave the speech, the purpose of the speeches, and which one was better. Both speeches were used in two different ways but only one was actually able to convince the people. Brutus’s speech did originally get the people’s attention that or they can’t understand anything logical. Brutus’s speech was presented to explain the facts and tell why he killed Caesar, but he didn’t do enough to hit them emotional. Brutus did try to hit the people emotionally by stating he was good friends with Caesar and just wanted to make sure didn’t riot. Brutus failed to read the crowd and give an emotional response to them and mostly just told them the facts. Brutus also thought that the crowd would be like him and just understand the facts without bringing emotion into the equation. Lastly he left the funeral so Antony would be able go against him. Antony managed to hit the crowd emotionally with his entire speech. He talked about he hated to see Caesar lying on the ground dead.
