In addition to the response given above, I think that there are definitely economic, technological and environmental barriers existing. However, I also think that social cultural barriers will also disrupt the existence of Amazon in the GTA area. From Chapter 1-Competing in Global Markets, the Social-Cultural barriers that businesses may face when entering a new Country are, language, manner, custom, values, etc. As stated in another response to question number 2, GTA is known to be the most multicultural area in Canada.
