How does the Internet affect school performance?) The 21 century is the period of new technologies, computers, mobile phones, tablets, smartphones and other modern devices. Ubiquitously, this list also includes the internet - a global computer network providing a variety of information and communication facilities, consisting of interconnected networks using standardized communication protocols (Oxford, n. d.). The internet is one of the greatest recent advancements in the world of information technology. This very useful and helpful invention is an important part of our everyday lives, its value and meaning became even a lot more important in our lives than it designed to. I found out that mostly, students think that the internet is designed to provide the communication between separated parts of the Earth and to allow people to share the experiences. The sixth question was asked because it is necessary to know if students spend their free time with the internet. It was found that most of the students spend part of their free time on the internet.
The seventh question was purposed to get deep information about what exactly they do in the internet. The most common reason is social networking (namely, VK, Instagram, Youtube, Whatsapp), education comes next (Coursera, IELTS with Liz, JavaRush, Khan Academy).
The eighth question was asked for a number of time that usually is spent by students per day. In average, students spend 4-5 hours a day using the internet.
The next one of the main questions is purposed to know their opinion about their addiction to the internet. It is important to state that students refused to have IA. However, their behavior could be easily predicted as if they were internet

By analyzing the data gathered from interviewing 8 students from different age groups, genders and school performances, I made the following conclusions: students with poor school performance use the internet a lot and for useless things such as series, games, social networks. Also, they use it in order to watch cartoons, read entertainment news or watch unnecessary videos on the youtube and so on. This is examples of some ways in which they spend all their time when they are at home. On the other hand, students with good marks spend their time to read developing and teaching and of course, entertaining books and they do not waste a lot of on the internet. They use the internet mainly for educational purposes but they use it in order to relax especially during the weekends, too. Students with bad marks appeared to disagree with the fact that they are addicted to the internet and also think in the “philosophy way” that generally the internet addiction is not so
