How I Shaped My Educational Experiences

Further, it would not be until after high school that I had begun to realize that I had shaped my educational experience myself. For now, I can express, create, and inspire others to become whom they have always believed was inside of them. If it was not for me opening myself up to a discourse between myself and the strange and unique individuals that education deemed lost, I could have never been able to teach individuals how to play, produce, and create music for themselves. For it’s because of those encounters with the strange and unique that I can now help others to expose a piece of themselves to the world. In addition, John Taylor Gatto would illustrate that schools trains individuals to be works and consumers. As a result, he would implore individuals to teach others to be courageous and creative. In kind, Gatto would conclude that, “School trains children to be employees and consumers; teach your own to be leaders and adventurers” (155). Ergo, schools train individuals to becoming someone that is nothing more than workers that consumes what they build. Thus, it is up to the individuals whom broke away from schools and educated themselves to support and inspire individuals to achieve something extraordinary. For, those schools could have never educate an individual in such a way that inspired them to create something pure. A collection of thoughts, emotions, and creativity that exists within everyone. As I continued to search through abandoned works and misunderstood people throughout my senior year of high school, I became more and more disconnected to school. I graduated by attaining psychical education class, but initially failing math, during summer school for one week. After that week the instructor told me he had passed me and that I could
