There are a couple of obstacles that have played a major role in me becoming who I am today. I've had naysayers trying to negatively influence my thoughts, and crush my dreams by saying that said I will never amount to anything, or that I should give up on my dreams and get realistic with my goals. A couple years ago I was a completely different person. I was out of shape physically, my academic performance was very poor, and I had a terrible attitude. I improved greatly in athletics and my academic career.…

I was born in October 1996 at a hospital located in Yangzhou, China, and then directly from there I was placed into an orphanage where the workers were limited, but the babies were infinite. I always thought that I could’ve ended up anything other than the ‘me’ now if certain sequence of events didn’t happen to put me in the position of where I am in life right now and the way I perceive myself, people, and life in general. I wonder if I hadn’t done or had did certain things in the past, then I wouldn’t be who I am now and where I am now. Perhaps if I went out more often instead of locking myself in my room back in in grade school all the way up to high school, maybe then I would’ve been more social compared to today.
