My responsibilities were to feed my sisters' and get them dressed to do their hair, help them with their homework. Make sure that dinner was ready at 6:30 and after they finished their meals. Being a mother has given me a better outlook on things. I wanted her to have a good childhood giving all the love and support , time and let her enjoy being a kid. Being independent, wanting a place of my own so that I can take care of my child. After I graduated from high school I started looking for work. My first job was at a plant called Perdue Farms I had another little one I was determined that I wanted to leave my mother house and have a place of my own. After two years of working at the plant, I decided it was time for a change. I wanted my own place and I couldn't keep taking care of my mother and sisters' any longer.
When I moved out I found another job closer where I relocated. The plant was called Sara Lee, later down the road, I had another baby. So I knew my finances had to change so applied for another job position as a Teacher Assistant. I've been working there for four years and I enjoy it. I have grown up in so many ways learning to be independent I make wiser decisions. Even though I left my mother and sisters' and having my own little family.
