How Having A Degree Changed My Life

Being involved with my community is very imperative because it allows me to give back to the city that has raised me for the past eighteen years and help that same city prosper for future generations. Helping others is/has always been/will always be one of the most enjoyable things I could do if awarded with a degree. If granted with a degree, no matter what the certificate may be for or of, there will always be a way to help and impact another person’s life. There is no level of degree that will put me above others in the sense of assistance or involvement with the community, but having a degree does allow me to expand the range of help I can lend and insight I can teach for those who may be lost and confused. With a degree, I would be able to teach those who are lacking the traits they need to reach their full potential. A great deal of people seem to be stuck behind obstacles that hold them back, often times negatively harming their motivation. This being said, I would be able to talk these people through those tough times and get them back on track and eventually have them reach their goal. With the knowledge I would gain from my degree, I would be able to demonstrate the appropriate methods to succeeding in whatever area that specific person may be struggling with. By doing this, hopefully, I would be boosting their self esteem and making helping others cyclical within the community. Having a college education and an academic degree would make me more likely to participate in communal events - like running political rallies or solving issues within the community. This is
