They used to be big with pointy ears and lots of muscle. Now they are small with cute floppy ears that attract a lot of people. In the second passage which is ''How the Dog Became Part of the Family'' states that most of the dogs now live indoors with us, but they used to live out in the cold working for humans. Also, when the dogs are living inside with us they have an air conditioner and they have a furnace to keep them warm. Now have comfortable places to lay down. A lot of people like to torpor with their dog or puppy. Most indoor dogs are potty trained. In the past, they stayed outside so they could use the bathroom anywhere. The only way my mama would let me sleep with my dog is if it was well potty trained. Another thing is that indoor dogs have lots of vitamin foods. In the past dogs grazed whatever they found to eat. They sell treats, toys, and clothes for dogs now. This shows you that dogs are treated differently and with more respect than they were in the past.
This shows that over the years dogs have changed so much in the way they look, do things, and get treated. This also shows that the relationship between dogs and humans have changed over time. Dogs have changed tremendously. They look like different creatures nowadays than before. These two paragraphs gave a lot of knowledge on how they have changed over time.
