Looking at what I eat now I need to change my diet. For breakfast I usually have a Nutri- Grain Strawberry or an apple and a bottle of water, on the go of course. On the other hand if I'm really in a hurry and need to grab gas for my car I just pick up a french vanilla coffee and a blueberry muffin. This already breaks two of pollan's food rules which is do all you're eating at a table and don’t get your fuel the same place as your car. I need to improve on this because you tend to eat more when you’re in a car or train. Also the food choices that I am making are very poor because their is a lot of calories in a muffin and a coffee. During the summer when more fruits and vegetables are in season my family and I usually go to the farmers market in the morning to get fresh fruits and vegetables which are grown locally. In addition during the summer my sister has her own garden which she grows tomatoes, green onion, cantaloupe etc…. In the summer it’s a lot easier to get fresh foods in Minnesota rather than in the winter. Moving on when I go to the grocery market I usually shop all over the place but usually in the middle aisles because that's where I can find pudding, sugary cereals and candy. When I do go to Cub or Target it’s usually a fast run if I need milk I will only run in and get a jug of milk than pay and right
