Let 's take a trip 20 years back, during the time when people stayed home and actually communicated through mail. The time when there were no cellphones, tablets and most importantly, social medias. Now, let 's return to reality, to a world cultivated by smart devices and energy saving mobiles. Throughout this time frame, society has truly become revolutionized, especially with the implementation of social media sites. These sites are available and can be used by all however, to truly benefit from social media, you must first understand the positives and negatives of it.

As mentioned before, social media has formed many relationships however, the numerous breakups it has caused exceeds this positive. It makes cheating easier and provides and wider range of options. In addition, it is also used for cyber bullying which is a major issue in the United States today. A recent research commenced by The Movement Against Bullying shows that more than half of the teenage population are cyberbullied. This number is so high because just like cheating, bullying is made easier through social medias. Also, since its introduction, privacy is harder to maintain and identify fraud has skyrocket. People have become too relaxed with social media and are dangerously providing too much information. Let 's not forget how it is affecting society 's educational performance. Presently, you frequently hear the moans and groans of lectures who are tired of poor grammatical nightmares and misspelled words. Undoubtedly, these can be linked to social medias where individuals feel free to use slang and create their unique language. However, the issue surfaces when they incorporate these freedoms into their day to day
