In the earlier years footballers could get away with many things such as violent conduct and misconduct during the game, but nowadays footballers need to watch or what they do and how they talk to officials, most people think that is a very good idea as I do too because it Remembers the players that being stupid and talking back badly will end badly.

The goal line technology is absolutely amazing as it determines is it's a goal or not and can decide the winner of the game in some circumstances depending on what time the game is at, it also makes the job of the lines men/women much easier as it’s a pretty long way to say if it's a goal or not. This also is good because it proves that the referees not cheating or that there are no match fixing throughout the game nowadays.

Since voice recognition has been introduced to football many footballers have had to work on the mental side of football to control what they say to referees or our players, voice recognition is very good because it helps FIFA figure out if any racist comments have been said to our footballers because as FIFA want to promote football is no racist place. For example on 15 October 2011 Luis Suarez was found guilty by voice recognition for racial comments to the former Manchester United player Patrice Evra, this a very significant situation in football but as FIFA had voice recognition Suarez was fined 50,000 pound and served an 8 game

It was a windy, and snowy playoff game, and the Patriots were down by 3 points to the Oakland Raiders with 27 seconds left in the game. The fans were very nervous, wondering how the weather conditions would affect Vinatieri. Referring back to the topic of referees fixing matches, “In January of 2005, Bundesliga referee Robert Hoyzer admitted receiving a plasma TV and €67,000 for fixing the results of four Bundesliga matches and unsuccessfully attempting to influence the outcome of two others” (Asis). This presents how bribes can easily convince an individual to disregard the rules for an incentive, risking one’s job simply for an extra pay and a television. The referee was later sentenced to prison for two years and five months (Asis).
