Super Bowl 1 Report

January 15, 1967, the NFL (National Football League), hosted an American Football Championship game. The game was a major hit, it was played before about 62,000 fans at the stadium to watch!

The NFL teams playing against each other were the Green Bay Packers and the Kansas City Chiefs. Bart Starr was the quarterback for the Packers he was very important because he was the one who made all the throws for the team if it weren't for his amazing coordination and planning there would be no team. Len Dawson was the quarterback for the Chiefs and he was important because he was the star of the team and planned the runs and passes for every single person/player on the team. The main reason this changed history is design of cleats, sports shoes, and sports clothing. The first super bowl has improved the technology behind football pads and helmet by making them safer. The first super bowl has also changed history in entertainment and what people would rather view on television. People have been affected by football along the lines of fitness and outdoor activities.

Thats why 1967 was a great year and that is how football has changed history and has made the technology behind cleats, shoes, helmets, mouth pieces, and football pads. Bart Starr and Len Dawson are now famous and are grand stars in the National Football League (NFL) Hall of Fame.
