How Has Changed Greek Government

We learned, changed, and took many things from Ancient Greece. We took their art and architecture and changed Greek government so we could put it into our lives. Ancient Greece is different from us, but similar in some ways because the first Christians were Greek and early scripture was written in Greek, not that all of them believed in Christ, but they made inventions we use today, and they were smart to choose their leaders.
Geek ancient food there was much different from us today. We now have factory made artificial food. Their diet consisted of fruits, vegetables, and bread. They got their meat from goats and sheep. ( Bailey, 40, 41 ) Wine in Ancient Greece was diluted with water to lower the alcohol content. Because of this, it was considered just a drink. Clothing was very simple in Ancient Greece. Most people wore a wool tunic that draped over the shoulders. Women’s garments were at the knee, but still worn with a tunic. They usually wore nothing on their feet while in the house. ( Bailey, 41, 42 )

Early Greek art on pots were made of some sort of red clay, and etched in black figures as a unique decoration. Decorations were not only just ordinary decorations for pots and vases. It would show scenes of women cooking, doing house chores, taking care of children, or perhaps weaving. ( Bailey, 43, 44 ) More expensive pots were hand made by special craftsmen. It usually took two people to make these pots. Since these pots were expensive, they were bought by the rich. Since the rich were buyers, the decorations on the pots showed things that appealed to the rich. ( Powell, 81) Greek architecture, had mostly bronze used as a metal. It was pretty popular because it was cheaper than metals like gold and silver, but still durable. ( Bailey, 43, 44
