In my opinion, i think the civil war was inevitable because slavery was too big of an economic value stop. The north and south basically had a different view on everything.The slave industry was a business worth 2 billion dollars. The “heart” of slave trades were difficult for families because children and parents were bought and sold for profits and that’s hard to overcome for anyone. Just like slaves, cotton had the southern states booming. When the cotton gin came around in the late 1700’s, it made removing the seeds from cotton easier but still required help from the slaves.
