How Harmful Is America Before The Next President?

Decent Essays
I think the America today is becoming worse than it was before this last president, who is about to not going to be president after this next election coming up. America was not in much debt before Obama became president. America was in a lot of debt in 2007 but when Obama started his 2nd term America was in a debt of over 18 trillion dollars. Now these new candidates are just going to ruin America even more. America is suppose to be able to support everyone that lives here, but when people come from other states without the U.S knowing they start to get comfy and are given our tax dollars to buy them food when they should get a job and get the right papers to live here legally. I think even though none of them are good that the candidate who should win is Donald Trump because his foreign policy is understandable he will send the people living here illegally to their home countries. People think that he will send everyone from another country back to that county but he isn’t going to do that he will only send them back if they are not suppose to be in this country. So if you think someone you know who is legally living here is going to be sent back they aren’t because they are not here illegally. …show more content…

I, myself, agree with John Dean that the Republicans destroyed the government because I am pro-choice. America’s future vison is continually changing. It appears that regardless of the ideas one sets for America it is never followed through. George Washington, one of America’s first great leaders and presidents, warned the young nation not to allow factions, such as political parties and foreign affairs to take part in United States. My vison for America is that we once again regain a clean slate by paying off foreign debts, allow more advanced teachings in schools, and reducing waste and pollutants. The foreign debt America has gained, in today’s day and age, is the highest it has ever been.…

I believe that America can get back to the honest and innocent world it once was. I have a hard time saying that I am proud to be an American because people have changed our country into a hate-filled, judgmental, racist place; and this is not the America I believe in. The America I believe in works together and perseveres to its highest potential, it does not judge by the color of someone’s skin, and isn’t hate-filled. The America I believe in works together so that citizens can grow as one.…

With the current federal minimum wage set at $7.25 an hour, and low-income earners continuing to struggle to make ends meet, proponents to a wage hike are biting at their chomps to get somewhere with the debate. But, like all things in life, the proposal to raise the minimum wage will carry some baggage—both good, and bad. What is the proposed minimum wage increase?…

Although Washington’s Farewell Address was written 221 years ago, Washington’s words of wisdom stay timeless. Washington laid out valued advice, and even though Washington gave this advice long ago many of it still shows up into today’s events. With the national debt projected to grow to average of nearly 100 percent of the GDP by the end of the decade, President Obama needed to find a way to combat this as most economist would find this number very problematic. This current fiscal path would not be sustainable and will drive up interest rates for all borrowers making it more expensive for business owners to raise capital and create jobs. The higher debt will cause the government to spend more money on interest payments making less available for other priorities. If the worst were to happen, investors could lose confidence in our nations ability or willingness to repay its loans which in turn could possible trigger a debt crisis.…

I think that in this world today that our future president could run out all of the illegal people and not let them in. Some other candidates for president do not think of running these people out but to invite them in. The United States is supposed to be a land where people can be free where other places, they cannot. I agree that we need to be careful of who comes in and out of the United States border. People are scared that people will come and try to take over the U.S, so they want protection.…
